I have been looking for a really good recipe that everyone would love and want me to make more. So if you have one please type the ingredients, oven temp, time in the oven and the procedure.Are there any good cookie recipes out there?
My family loves my peanut butter oatmeal cookies:
PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL COOKIES
1 Cup plain flour
1 Cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Whisk together in medium bowl, set aside.
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
3/4 Cup creamy peanut butter
1 Cup white sugar
1 Cup light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract, optional
Mix together in large mixer bowl with electric mixer on HIGH. Once it is thoroughly mixed, add the flour mixture a little at time. Then,
Stir in:
2 Cups of quick oats
If the dough seems dry, add 1 to 2 Tablespoons of skim milk.
Place by Tablespoonful (cookie scoop) onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper press with fork or fingers to slightly flatten them. (or make two logs of dough and cut into discs) Bake 8 - 10 minutes in a preheated 375 degree oven.
Allow cookies to cool on pan one minute before removing to a wire rack. Cool.

The Best Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
1 whole large egg, at room temperature
1 large egg yolk, at room temperature
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour [see Baker鈥檚 note]
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon extra fine salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup [1 1/2 sticks] unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups dark-as-you-want-em chocolate chips
Method
Heat oven to 325掳. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Crack the whole egg into a small dish. Add the egg yolk and the vanilla extract; set aside.
Set a sifter over a small bowl or rest on a piece of wax or parchment paper. Add the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and sift into the bowl; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the egg, egg yolk and vanilla until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Drop cookie dough by the tablespoon measure onto prepared cookie sheets [I keep the measure hot and clean in a tall glass of hot tap water between scoops]. Turn the measured dough over to see which side has the most chips and put that side up. Place any chips that might escape on top. Cookies should be about 2 inches apart. I get 6 cookies on a half-sheet baking pan.
Bake for 9 minutes. Turn pans back to front and top to bottom and bake another 6 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before sliding parchment with cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
Store cookies air-tight. To ensure next-day freshness, put a slice of bread in the container with the cookies.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
Baker鈥檚 note: I employ the scoop and sweep method of measuring flour. Mix flour to aerate. Scoop and heap into measuring cup over flour container. With a butter knife, tap the handle of the measure 3 times. Slide the blade evenly across the flour to level it off.
This is a fave at our home as cookies or bar cookies ....I love to make it and put it is a 9x13 pan and bake and 3 minutes before it is done sprinkle choc chips over it and then spread the warm choc when it comes out of the oven ....my son loves these bars.
Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
In a bowl, cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Roll into 1-1/2 in. balls and place 3 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork if desired. Bake at 375掳 for 10-15 minutes. Yield: 3-4 dozen.

36 miniature peanut butter cups, unwrapped
Directions:
Prepare cookie mix according to directions. Roll the dough into 1-in. balls. Place in greased miniature muffin cups. Press dough evenly onto bottom and up sides of each cup.
Bake at 350掳 for 11-13 minutes or until set. Immediately place a peanut butter cup in each cup; press down gently. Cool for 10 minutes; carefully remove from pans. Yield: 3 dozen. Editor's Note: 2-1/4 cups peanut butter cookie dough of your choice can be substituted for the mix
Million Dollar Cookies
2 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
4 c flour
1 t soda
1 t salt
1 t vanilla
1 c coconut
1 c chopped pecans
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla, coconut and pecans. Roll into small balls and press down with a glass dipped in flour for each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.
Moon Rocks
1 lb powdered sugar
1 stick margarine (melted)
1 6 oz can frozen orange concentrate (thawed)
1 t grated orange peel
1 c pecans (ground)
1 lb Vanilla wafers (crushed)
1 lb shredded coconut (divide in 2 portions)
Combine all ingredients except half of the coconut. Mix thoroughly. Shape into balls and roll into remaining coconut. Makes 96 confections.
well i know this simple recipe that my friends always want me to make, it takes like no time or anything so it's not expensive or a waste of time. etc/.
25 g sugar
50g butter
75g flour
blend sugar and butter
stir in flour
bake at 350 until golden brown (10 minutes, about)
