Hi, I've got a party tonight and I need to make some cookies. I don't have a bunch of random ingredients so anything simple and quick will be best, thanks!Does anyone have any quick easy and good cookie recipes?
Scottish Shortbread Cookies
2 cups butter
1cup packed brown sugar
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1.Preheat oven to 325 F or 165 C
2.Cream butter and brown sugar. Knead for 5 minutes, adding enough flour to make a soft dough. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into 3x1 inch strips. Prick with fork and place on ungreased baking sheets.
4.Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.Does anyone have any quick easy and good cookie recipes?
Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
* 3/4 cup peanut butter
* 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
* 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 1 large egg
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* granulated sugar
Directions
In medium mixing bowl beat together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, egg and vanilla until creamy.
Blend in flour, soda and salt.
Cover. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Form dough into 24 balls, each about 2-inches in diameter.
Arrange about 2-inches apart on two cookie sheets.
Flatten with fork dipped in granulated sugar to form criss-cross pattern.
Bake in preheated 350掳 oven 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cool on wire racks.

INGREDIENTS:

chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened 2 eggs
1 cup semisweet chocolate
chips
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, butter and eggs until smooth and well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Easy Vanilla Cookie

INGREDIENTS:
1 (18.25 ounce) package
yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons white sugar
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, egg and whipped topping until a dough forms. In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on an unprepared cookie sheet about 1 to 2 inches apart.
3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies will be golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
Yes! I just made this today.... I got it off the internet but it made some GREAT cookies!!
Here it is:
Soft Snickerdoodle cookies-
1 cup butter
11/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tarter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
coating:
3 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Mix butter, sugar, and eggs thorougly in a large mixing bowl.
3. Combing flour, cream of tarter, baking soda, and salt together in seperate bowl
4. blend ingredients together
5.Chill dough and ungreased cooking pan for about 10-15 minutes
7. Scoop 1 inch globs into cinommen mixture... roll them around and then put them onto the pan
8.Bake for 10 mintutes
Be sure to immediatly remove the cookies when they are removed from the oven for soft results.
Monster Cookies
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 C. white sugar
2 t. soda
1 1/2 C. peanut butter
1/2 C. chocolate chips
1 t. vanilla
1 C. brown sugar
1 T. Karo
1/2 C. Oleo
4 1/2 C. oatmeal
1/2 C. M %26amp; M's
Directions
Mix everything together and bake at 350 for 12 minutes.

without a lot of time or the correct ingredients I suggest you call your local grocery store and have them make you a cookie tray.
