Does anyone have any good and fast cookie recipes?

When I say fast, I mean I don't have to chill before I bake.


And NO ';Buy Pillsbury'; answers.





Preferably Butter Cookies, but any cookie will do.Does anyone have any good and fast cookie recipes?
Spritz Cookies


2 1/2 cups flour


1/2 teaspoon salt


1 cup butter, softened


3/4 cup sugar


1 egg


2 teaspoons almond extract


colored decorating sugar


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine flour and salt. In a large bowl, cream butter; gradually add sugar. Blend in egg and almond extract; beat well. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Press dough through cookie press onto ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with colored decorating sugar. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool on wire rack.





Chocolate Spritz Cookies


1 cup butter, softened


2/3 cup sugar


1 large egg


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


2 1/4 cups flour


1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa


1/2 teaspoon salt


Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla in a large mixin g bowl until light and fluffy. Add mixture of flour, cocoa and salt gradually; mix well. Press through cookie press onto cool ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350掳 for 5 minutes or until set. Remove onto wire rack. Cool completely.





Skor Bar Sugar Cookies





2 cups sugar


1 3/4 cups butter


2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla


2 eggs


4 cups all-purpose flour


3 teaspoons baking powder


1/2 teaspoon baking soda


1/8 teaspoon salt


2 cups Skor English toffee bits


Preheat oven to 350掳F. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together,set aside. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add vanilla and eggs and beat until smooth. Add flour mixture and beat until just combined. Mix in Skor pieces by hand. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and flatten with the bottom of a glass. Bake about 10-12 minutes until set but not brown. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes and transfer to rack.

MIX THAT JAZZ TOGETHER, scoop out each on to a sheet pan and make little crosshatches with a fork. and sprinkle a bit of sugar ontop, then bake for around 10mins. let them cool off so you dont burn yourslef on all that goodness. keeps a million kiddos busy when they get bored, or get on your nerves.

Spritz are a butter sugar cookie usually made using a cookie press to get many different shapes.





Spritz Blossoms


about 7 dozen cookies


Prep: 40 minutes


Bake: 7 minutes/batch





Ingredients


1-1/2 cups butter, softened


1 cup packed brown sugar


1 teaspoon baking powder


1 egg


1 teaspoon vanilla


1/2 teaspoon almond extract


3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour


1 recipe Powdered Sugar Icing


Coarse sugar; silver dragees





Directions


1. Preheat oven to 375F. In large bowl beat butter on medium to high speed 30 seconds. Add brown sugar and baking powder; beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl. Beat in egg, vanilla, and extract until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can; stir in remaining flour.





2. Push dough through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7 to


9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to wire rack to cool.





3. Brush with Powdered Sugar Icing; sprinkle with sugar. Place a dragee in center. Dry 30 minutes on waxed paper. Makes 80.





4. Store in airtight container in single layer at room temperature up to 3 days. Freeze up to 3 months.

COCONUT OATMEAL COOKIES





1 cup Flour


1 tsp Baking Powder


陆 tsp Baking Soda


1 tsp Salt


戮 cup Butter 鈥?softened


1 2/3 cup Sugar


2 Eggs 鈥?large or bigger (I prefer to use Jumbo)


1 陆 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract


2 陆 cup Quick Oats


1 cup Flaked Coconut





Preheat oven to 375 F.





Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy (and I know how you gals like 'fluffy'). Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in flour mixture, vanilla and oats. Add coconut. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned at the edges. Cool on a wire rack. Makes about 60 cookies. Cookies will spread when baking.
Frogs are easy (but not butter cookies, i suppose)


Melt together: 1/2 cup each: Sugar, shortining and milk.


Add: 3 Tbsp Cocoa powder.


Wisk in : 3 cups oatmeal and 1 cup coconut.


Drop on sheet or plates, refrigerate for about 1/2 hour, YUMMY!
Oaty Doodle Hearts!


Recipe:


Rolled oats and whole wheat flour - nutricious grains have never tasted so good. These cookies are both crisp and chewy at the same time, making them perfect for lunchboxes, picnic baskets, or an after school snack. Just saying their name brings a smile so imagine how you feel eating one or to!





2 cups of rolled oats.


1 1/2 cups all purpose flour.


1/2 cup of whole wheat flour


4 tsp. baking soda


1 tsp. cream of tartar


1/4 tsp salt.


1/2 cup butter, softened


1/2 cup butter flavored shortning.


1 1/2 cups sugat


2 eggs


1 tsp. vanilla


1/3 cup sugar





1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or foil; set aside. In a food processor process the rolled oats until finely ground. In a medium bowl combine ground oats, all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, cinnamon, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt; set aside.





2. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and shortning with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add the 1 1/2 cup sugar and beat until combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat or stir mixture.





3. Using a heaping teaspoon for each cookie, roll dough into balls; roll in the1/3 cup on sugar. Place on prepared cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Flatten to a little less than 1/2 inch thick. Use your fingers to shape into hearts by forming a point and two rounded shapes. Bake for 8 -10 mins or until set and lightly browned. Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet. Transfer to wire racks and let cool completely. Makes about 60 cookies.

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies





1 egg beaten


1 c. granulated sugar


1 c. peanut butter





Place by spoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheet.


Bake at 325 degrees for 6-8 min.
